Why do soft synths stop playing?

Why do soft synths stop playing?

OK, I'm sure there is a simple fix for this, but I just can't figure it out.
 
If I have AD2 loaded in the synth rack, and then add Dim Pro, or, and Rapture.  Whenever I click on the any synth in the rack, or even click on a track in CV, AD2 stops playing.   I hope that makes sense.
 
What is the mistake that I am making?  Is there a setting somewhere that I need to attend to?

    Hello, sorry I didn't chime in sooner.  My pay as you go internet card ran out and I was 100 miles away from a place to buy another one.  I'm good to go now.

    Is this during playback? Or during editing? Maybe during previews from EzPlayer or some other MIDI source?

    Hello Kylotan, thanks for responding.  It is during playback.  I thought it might be a setting in synth properties, but I haven't pinned it down yet.
