Anyone had success contacting Line 6 via support ticket?
I sent a support ticket to line 6 earlier this week and got the following response the next day. Your Line 6 Support Ticket was updated and marked as Assumed Answered by a Line 6 Support Representative. While it is in this status, if you do not reply to the ticket, it will be closed in 5 days. If it closes, you can open the ticket again by replying to it within 90 days. To view this ticket, click here: http://line6.com/account/tickets/edit/266170 You can also reply directly to this email and it will be added to your ticket. If you have a file to send us, it must be attached via your ticket. How the hell can they mark it as, "assumed answered" when they have NOT responded in any way apart from to say the above!!? I just checked the link again and my support ticket is now listed as, "assumed answered" and I have not had any communication with them. Are they taking the piss (sorry mods) or what!!? Does anyone know another way of contacting them without me paying to ring my "local dealer" in Germany? I did respond to the above email but to no avail Steve

Ignore the above, I just checked the link they gave me and this time it took me to a different page where they have answered my query. Very confusing response though. Steve

Steve, Did you go the ticket and see what was added? Many times these companies only respond ON THE TICKET, and WILL NOT send you an email, other then the "Status Change" of the issue...

I'm sure it's not me going mad but when I clicked on the link they gave me a few days ago and 10 minutes ago it just took me to a list of tickets (along with old tickets) but not answers. I clicked on it again and this time it took me to their response which was dated November 2nd (the day I created the ticket) Very odd but I'm sorted now, perhaps it could have been a dodgy link they sent me. I actually think it was user error. If you look on the support tickets page there is a list of all my tickets and on the left side of the list is the ticket ID/number. You have to click on the number to open the ticket but it's all in grey so not at all obvious. You'd think they'd hypertext it in blue or something to make it clear? Steve

Glad to hear it worked out Steve. I had given up on using Pod Farm 2 when the drivers for Win 8/8.1 were practically useless and no amount of support would have solved it......the drivers were flaky. However, Win 10 drivers have been excellent and I can use the software once again.

Thanks Mesh, Good job I stuck with windows 7 and bypassed Win 8. I'm on windows 10 now and mostly liking it. I have the Pod X3 live and although I use gear box for stand alone I still use the pod farm plug in especially for my bass. I bought the bass expansion pack and use virtually nothing else but the Sub Dub bass amp. Does what it says on the tin Steve
