Looks like V10 of Waves is about to drop
If you check your "Uninstall" it will say that it can uninstall either V9 or V10 plugins...
Just a heads up...

How do I get to that uninstall screen? I can't find it in the new, spectacularly improved Waves Central app. Thanks in advance.

What a pain. You have to download the installer again to update it. Why can't they make it self updating like NI etc.?

I bought all my Waves plugs on sale. The cost to WUP is way more than I paid to buy them. Ya, that's gonna work.

That's my "predicament"... I've bought so many individual plugs and signature packages over the last few years that they keep trying to entice me with "upgrades" to full bundle deals. Only the deals would cost way more than just buying the plugins I don't already have. Always gives me a chuckle.

Worrisome, Useless Plan . It's a really stupid concept. There's no way that my plugs are going to be updated so why would I throw away money. I guess if they make a new plug under V10 and I have to own it, I'll have to run 2 installers. More Stupider.

And here I thought that MS meant "mid/side". More Stupider has so much more resonance.

Could be a real tough sell. Last time they had 64bit to dangle in front of you. If Bapu draws the line, then we know it could be a new pair of dimes.

Would be nice for it to happen soon. My WUP expires in January '16.
I just picked up Abbey Road Collection for $258.99 at AudioDeluxe. That's the best price I've ever seen it for.

I've drawn the line until March 2016. My Mercury WUP is expired but that's when Abbey Road and SSL expire. I'll WUP then if V10 looks promising (i.e. something more than the last two new offerings which I don't even remember their names as they did not WOW me). Last "freebie" I got under Mercury was the Butch Vig thingy.

The only way I would ever pay Waves an update fee is if they revamped and updated their older plugins. I love Renaissance EQ etc but I frequently reach for other plugins purely on the basis that they have much better functionality, more responsive controls and superior visual feedback.

Thanks Larry but too late. I haven't been to that site before. There's so many of them. Fortunately it's only a few bucks.
