I've got SAS. SASsy I am.

Cakewalk scans/reports 1780 VSTs. Granted many are mono dups of the stereo and VST3 version as well as the VST2 version (I typically install all VST options to be safe).

Yeah, I just learned that the hard way. Bitwig doesn't seem to support VST3, so I had to go back and install the VST2 versions. Sigh.

    I don't think I've bought a single plug-in in 2015.

2014 was a pretty slow year too, compared to the previous years. Well, I did upgrade the studio computer, and I did upgrade Logic and Pro Tools. Since Logic now includes Alchemy, I rarely ever use any 3rd party plug.

    Software-wise, I don't think I need anything more - I see my DAW as I would a hardware recorder. A very finite, close-ended system.

I did buy a used Command 8 control surface for Pro Tools from a friend earlier this year, and I finally bought my Gibson Les Paul and an Epiphone Thunderbird bass.

I should have the budget to finally get my Marshall head and cab next week.

Besides an acoustic, I don't see myself putting money on anything except soul treatment. (Though a laptop running Windows XP/Sonar 8.5 would be nice to re-open old projects. :P )

As much as I'm into audio, my oldest daughter's into photography.

    She says she has GAGAS.

Genetically Acquired Gear Acquisition Syndrome. Haha. I thought it was funny.

Where do I sign up for this soul treatment? I'd like to have mine back in working condition again.

Haha. No her first word was dad. She didn't show evidence of the GAGAS until a few years ago. I told her about GAS and she coined the term GAGAS. Funny girl. She gets it from me. With the gas. I mean GAS.

    Hi,

Nahhh ... you don't have GAS ... you just been visiting the GONG website too long!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Look up pictures of Klaus Schulze's studio ... it's one main reason why he doesn't like doing concerts ... you can't take it with you!
