Aggressive Funk Bass and Drums - Perculator

I've wanted to put a tune in video for a while, decided this one was the way to go.  The percussion started the tune and is from old Acid loops, then the bass was written and arranged, with the drums coming in last.

Nice! Well shot vid, looks good. Great groove, will you be adding anything else to it?

Probably not, it's really busy with the rhythm layers, percussion and what not.  Past experience says continuing to add to a busy song just makes a muddled mess.

Good funky stuff there Wogg (as is all your other stuff)........being a guitarist, I totally enjoy this type of bass playing and I might just load this into Sonar and jam with it. Listening to Dance Sucka atm.......love it!! Get Funkaaaay!!

Way good. Superior bass riffage. Any self-respecting keyboard player would want to add parts, and , as you say, muck it up.

So, Level 42 much? My favorite band. Mark King and Pete Ray Biggins these days. Holy crap.

Very authentic looking video - nice job!

The video is really close to authentic. I did track while taking the video with a DSLR on a tripod, but try as I might the best tracks were the ones without the video to go with them. I did make it through the drums in one solid take while I thought the camera was rolling, but it didn't record that one. So if you're a musician and watch closely you can tell when the performance deviates from the sound.

That be some funky-@$$ stuff.       Very cool.   I can certainly imagine keys or guitar riding on top, but I think it also holds its own.

This was refreshing, visuals and real drums! Great musicianship mate. I think it is what it is, leave it as you have it, a funk instrumental rock out
