how can I chop vocals into individual audio files for bulk move into Falcon
I've never gotten into the beat chopping thing but Falcon allows us to pull multiple audio files into it's sampler all at once. So I'd like to sing vocal lines, chop them up and export the clips into individual wave files which I can then move in mass into Falcon. I'm just muckin' around here but if there's a program specifically good at this I'd love to know.
I tried doing it in Sonar but there's no way to export the group of chopped vocal bits from audio snap into separate wave files... this would really be nice. I assume there are many things that can do this but I haven't a clue. Do you?
I could be going about this all wrong but thought I'd throw it out to the gurus amongst us...
My thought is to riff on ideas, take the audio, chop it, then play around in the big new bird...I've always wanted to do this and they've made it relatively easy... I can use SPlt to create awesome ambient vocals and then chop that exported file in... what???
BTW, Falcon can do on the fly sample conversion of any of these formats, if that helps: Soundbanks (.ufs), AIFF, FLAC, MP3, MP4 (with QuickTime installed on Windows for MP3/MP4), REX1, REX2, SDII (on Mac), WAV, WAV64, SFZ, SND, CAF
