Sonar x3 - confused about how to use sound center for orchestral instruments

I'm not sure I'm understanding things..

I have a piece containing x # of midi tracks for violins, oboes, etc etc.
In the past have always used hardware synths - mostly because of lack of learning curve and simple, but I purchased the orchestral strings libraries and others and can't figure out how they work?
The demo videos show doing one track and making an instruments,  but mine are defined and already all lined up.

do I insert a midi track or something ( or an audio track ) under the existing track that I want to play the midi synth..  say a violin?

and do i repeat this for each midi instrument in the song?

( inserting a track below the intended midi track that I want to use a soft synth)

The soundcenter instruments are really confusing to me with the interface that comes up..

Try using the Pocket Orchestra in Dimension Pro. Sound Center is a very limited sample player that is meant to market the sounds available in CW's instruments. An alternative is TTS-1 which is a GM compatible synth for playing GM MIDI files.
