Vienna Ensemble Pro 5 with Sonar

I just started using Vienna Ensemble Pro 5. I am amazed at how much processing power I've saved by hosting my sample libraries in VE Pro. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I've created a video tutorial that shows how I used VE Pro and Sonar together. If you are interested in VE Pro, perhaps it will be helpful:

Here's my original post in the Software forum about my experience with VE Pro:

    Hi DRanck,

Thanks for sharing it! I have a question about using sonar+VEP. When using VEP, are the sonar files smaller when saving them? I used to work in large projects and sonar file gets wuite big. Perhaps making VEP responsible of saving some of the parameters, Sonar files could be smaller. Just a hypothesis :-)

    Dave,

Very informative video.    Had never considered VE Pro until watching your presentation.  The sample loading time savings alone is worth the price.   I can definitely see some serious benefits with VEPro if doing a lot of orchestration.  Thanks for the really awesome overview.

You won't likely get a response from the OP on this. He has since "defected" to Cubase.
