Good stuff. I wasn't familar with Ron Hynes, so thanks for that link. How I wish I could write lyrics like that, even once in awhile.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

The man of a thousand songs. Passed on a couple days ago. One in a long line of East coast singer/songwriters.

Regards, John

I saw short documentary of his about 10 years ago, but didn't know he passed until this thread.

Hi,

The nicest thing on the Internet?

You can find/hear/see an artist in the middle of nowhere, and there are so many of them!

The worst?

Having to hear Fleetwood Mac, or Black Sabbath ever again!

Because when you do, most of us will never have the time to listen to others ... that DESERVE their time in the lights and media, but never got it.

I can say that through out my life I did my best for a lot of European musicians and bands ... many of which, only Craig, Glyn and a handful of folks here will ever check them out ... and folks like Ron fit into the same area and mold.

My only hope and hug, is that they can make a half way or more living from their efforts and work, and this goes for some of the folks here as well, that deserve a lot more than they get.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
