I have the Walnut Grand and it is very, very nice but the developer has been on and off the seen for a while and very difficult to track down at times (see the threads on gearslutz).
It is a shame as I would have purchased more if the service was better

They have an Extreme sample version of a Fazioli but it is 162GB and over $400... Usually send it out on an HD but are currently out of stock. If you see a Sale, Please let me know.

I almost crapped myself when I saw your post as I thought maybe it was a Sale...

Nope, I never did either.  But I'd be willing to be the owner of the company flunked Marketing 101 in business school.

I wonder if that new Silk Fazioli from AriaSounds is a contender. Only £20 at half price ...

Not from what I heard, they only had one demo had available at the time. ARIA said they would post some other demos with a close perspective so I can take a listen.

The real issue is I am looking for something that supports all 3 pedals and the ARIA lib does not but, if the close samples sound good, the price is right... :)

I'm really tempted by that as I don't have a Fonzereli Grand...

Thanks for pointing it out. It does seem to be dynamics capable but the middle registers leave a lot to be desired...

The Fazioli is the very first 3rd party thing I bought when I switched to Logic in 2010.

I'm not sure I would have had heard of them if not for the fact that few companies sell libraries that are compatible w/ Logic's sampler. As it is, looking for an EXS-24 compatible piano, I was bound to hit their website sooner or later.

I love the Fazioli, and it definitely has its uses, but as the name implies, these are "imperfect", and those imperfections can sometime be a bit intrusive.

After all, there is a reason why pro studios keep their piano well-tuned and in working order - there's more to liveliness than noises and other random imperfections.
