Two computers and Command Center - optimization? [Solved]

I usually download the updates to my desktop and laptop using CCC and just let them go about their business.

But occasionally with a large update like today's I thought I might be able to optimize the download by using CCC to download one set of stuff on the desktop and another set of stuff on the laptop and then just copy files back and forth.

If I do this, I'd run the updates manually, but if I wanted CCC to take over and do the update and install after I move files can I have it do that?

I know CCC has some auxiliary files in ProgramData so it might just ignore the files I move into its download area.

IIRC, the Command Center will check for the file in the download cache before initiating the download. If the file is found, it will verify the file. If the file checks out, the Command Center will use the copy in the download cache instead of downloading a new copy.
