Unwanted patch change occurring SOLVED

I'm using Arturia soft synth and am finding that if I loop 3-4 bars to experiment with different timbres, then on start of the loop Patch 1 is automatically selected. I've checked all channels and Event list for any patch changes and cannot find anything.
So what's happening is I select a patch ...loop a few bars....then on play my chosen patch is changed back to patch one.
I've never had this before until I upgraded to Sonar X1 ....I've looked in the Clips/Tracks view etc etc .....something is making the unwanted patch change but I cannot find it. Very frustrating .

    Try unsetting "Reset controllers to zero" in the preferences, project, midi.   A patch change IS a pair of controller messages in midi.    Not sure this will help but it's an easy thing to try.

    Are you setting the patch in the synth GUI or in the MIDI track?

    Many thanks....the Reset Controllers to Zero" worked fine and has solved the problem ....!
