It's really nice having all of Dim Pro,Rapture and SC sounds (including expansions) all in one place.  It will make audiotining sounds so much easier.

I may have to invest in Rapture Pro.  I guess that's what Cakewalk hoped for.

Not complaining, though.

Thanks for the update

There are a few issues with the z3ta+2 installer on windows.

If you manually install, it doesnt ask for your vstplugins dir and dumps them in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\vstplugins and C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\vstplugins

If you install using the CCC, it only installs the 64 bit version.

Issues here too.
After updating I now have both 2.1 & 2.2.0 installed. What's best way to keep these installs consistent?
How can I update 2.1 only?

Haven't downloaded it. I know I'm public enemy number one here... But you actually did it... Well done.

I love you in a odd way of "fighting for what should be"..And that is a blessing!

Can this offer be extended?...I only get paid once a month, and it is usually on the first day of every month....and my budget has been taxed , and over charged this month....Please, please, please...with ice cream, and a cherry on top..
If it makes any desert based wine...soon...I can owe and have?..then pay?...just to turn a table...for one brief moment in time......Could be a solution to get...or not at the offered black Friday rate....What about white Dec day special special offers of de-demonished republic cost savings, off the low Black price?

I am asking.....in hopes to....have one day freely given.

Cheers

oh...I have paid for it already (he said with a err renewed vigor)...but it is not in my ccc installer account.....Sorry for the above pleading to extend or owe before...(but should be anyways for others)...if it is a free for, paid owners of it as mentioned below the OP, saying it is free for...I would never of looked deeper past the new, into the old.

I just rechecked my log in store account, and it is there, with other add on thingies for it, ....whoop!

Question:
Does th2 also update for paid cow feeders for free?

I got a email to upgrade TH2 for a dark price also....just asking.

Cheers.

It was a surprise to see that the Sound Centre sounds were included in Rpture Session, and all the expansion packs I have for it.

This is great - there are certain sounds I have for SC (Taurus Pedals, CP70 etc.) that I still use often, and have had to load 32 bit SC into my projects.  At last, I can get rid of another 32 bit instrument.

Thank you, Cakewalk, it was worth having Rapture Session for this alone.

That is really great to know.  If you hadn't posted this, I may have skipped installing Rapture Session.  I also purchased all the SC expansions when they were on sale a while back.  Thanks so much for the heads-up.

Sorry to go off topic, but I just wanted to clarify that I am not "Matron Landslide", as you keep claiming.

I have no problem saying what I think without the need to hide behind various alternative Log-Ins/ User names.  It should be obvious from the writing styles, if nothing else, that it is not me.

Please desist from implying this outright falsehood.

Thank you.

Back on topic, I am enjoying Rapture Session the more I play with it.

So I figured Dimension =not Dimension Pro

...are there any feature/content comparison charts between the two versions?
Can anyone give a little insight as to what I'd be getting extra if I upgrade. (Obviously I'd wanna do it now while there's a promo going on)
Thanks

If the link below works, it should take you to the Rapture Pro page on Cakewalk site, but I have not had much luck with posting links recently - user error, I think.

http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/Rapture

Rapture Pro is an update to Rapture, but you can also access all the sounds from Dimension Pro and Cakewalk Sound Center, as well as any expansion Packs you have installed.

Alex, please grow up.  It is not me.  I don't need t hide behind false identities to tell you what I think - it is obvious who it is, surely even you can recognise the puerile "sense of humour" that created this account.  Honestly..

Oh, and writing can't have mannerisms.

If you continue with this stupid accusation, I shall be forced to complain to Cakewalk about violations of the T & C.  They will be able to tell that it is not me.

Now please let it drop.

Thank you.

And still you continue to dig up my past avatar's which I no longer use on a daily basis as though it's of any interest to anybody at all...

Quickest way to resolve all this is for hosts to ban that troll account then it becomes a non issue isn't it? Issue resolved ... Unless trolling is exempted for that account for some reason (which it appears to be).

It would be pretty ironic to receive a t&c complaint about this scenario IMHO...

Both Z3TA+ 2 and Rapture Pro have gotten updates including AAX support.

The z3ta+2 update is severly broken, as can be read about in the Instruments forum.

Don't upgrade if you have projects using the current version or you'll be sorry.

Any advice?

May I make two suggestions at this point:
After purchasing the upgrade, you can download the files with Cakewalk command center.
1st) It might be useful to have the size of the files being displayed somewhere, so you can estimate how long the download will take. (In my region, bandwidth of available internet access is maximally 16,000 kBit/s.)
2nd) Being forced to interrupt download, you will notice that when resuming it another time, you will not start exactly at the point where you have stopped. Only completely downloaded files will be kept, within a file there is no resuming of download after interruption. It would be great to change Command Center's programming in a way that it allows full resuming of an interrupted download.

Hopefully that one has been fixed by now. So far I only noticed, Z3TA+2 appears, after installation, as standalone on your desktop, but when I tried to get something heard, I did not find out how to play a note on the virtual keyboard line at the bottom of the instrument.
Anyway, both updates are running smoothly, it seems, the isssue about z3ta+2 has been fixed. Now I will have to learn more about those lovely instruments. In first place, I will have to find out how to prevent Z3TA+2 to play melodies arbitrarily. It should only play what I write / type in my MIDI-track assigned to that synth.

A little help here please...
I tried putting Rapture session into a new project, and I get a message saying "Please login to Command Center to check activation status. Rapture Session running in demo mode..."

I did login to CCC and for the life of me I didn't see a way to check my activation status.

Seems like a cool synth though. Could someone point me in the right direction?

I've had the same issue with Rapture Session since its release with Kingston.. I'm in Demo mode and can't get out.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I'd reboot your system, not start either CCC or Sonar, log in to your Cakewalk account, manually download the installer, run it then open Sonar and see what happens.

My experience has been that since installing the CCC, I've not had to activate any product that is 'Connected'.

Do you have the latest CCC ?  Do you own Sonar ?

I noticed that Z3TA+ 2 had an upgrade in CCC the other day. I already had it installed. It said it was an update but it added another icon to my desktop and from all I could tell it was linked to the same file structure, same program. I deleted one of them.
Did I make a mistake? I rarely use it, well hardly ever but I'd like to think its installed right.
I'll go look in the Instruments forum but did I do something wrong? It looked right at the time...
