Orange Tree Slide Acoustic
Anyone own this? The demos sound good, but of course, that's always only half of the story.... This seems to cover much of the same territory as Indiginus Delta Blues. And since that one is only $30, I'm currently leaning more that way (Added to the fact that Indiginus has yet to let me down -- awesome products).

Been playing with it for a couple weeks now. It's great, and a bargain ATM. It might even have a slight edge over Indiginus' Delta Blues Slide Guitar, a favorite as well. Not tone-wise; they both sound similar, but OTS Slide Acoustic's sophisticated scripting gives you greater range (up to a full octave) and can be automated. But you can't go wrong with either of them.

Just picked this up at last, because OTS is having their Black Friday sale, with 35% off, and I also have their "orange slices" for 50% off my order, from past purchases. This company's products are among the best I've ever used, and I am looking forward to getting acquainted with the slide bundle I just purchased (electric and acoustic).

Thanks, Bit. Very helpful. You too, Dave (the other Dave, the pianist). I somehow missed the Slide bundle, will have to check that out.

I have the Lap Steel as well, but it's more limited in scope than the Slide Acoustic because it's got a strong amped midrangey tone baked in. Great when it works, but I can amp the Slide Acoustic and make it sound like pretty much anything. Here's a tune that I used the Lap Steel in (it's the second guitar melody, the first one's Omnisphere): https://soundcloud.com/bitflipper/just-nod-if-youre-in-thereThe bass is the OTS Rick, and OTS Strawberry makes an appearance around 2:00. Can you tell I'm an OTS fan?

Now your just p*ssing me off. You sound like old Dave Gilmour hisself, on a keyboard. I have amps, I have a steel, I have an acoustic and I can't get anything sounding that good out of any of them. They must be defective. Great job Dave.

Thanks, John. That's a real compliment coming from an actual git-picker.

Terrific! Shows what can be acheived with these libraries if you have the talent to fully exploit them. Inspiring!

Finally downloaded and installed both Lap Steel and Slide Acoustic. Just playing around with the presets and various settings are inspiring. Glad to add this to my coterie of OTS products, will be composing soon (before I decompose, heh heh). Nice tune, Bit....

Dave... here I am listening on SC writing how you've emulated the mighty Floyd wonderfully... and come back and find everyone agrees! Truly amazing... best thing I've listened to in a long while...
