OK ... paid.  Now we wait.  I really hope this doesn't end up being a bunch of work for Cake to reverse all of these ...

Just hope they let us know soon so that we don't miss the sales elsewhere.

Again, the worst they can do is try to say we only get one adpack, one midi pack and one kitpiece.  It is still the cheapest way to get one of each.

Not sure how the advertising laws work but I have screenshots of every step of the purchase and it says 3 of each on every one of them right up to the last one before pressing "purchase".

UPDATE:  Went to XLN's site and custom is 3 of each there but $249.  For some reason I was thinking the "Custom" bundle was one of each not three.

I have an invoice where they accepted $39 or the content so they may be stuck on this one even if it was a typo or mistake.

If not a mistake, Kudos to Cake for this truly astounding BF deal and shame on anyone that misses it.

It's not a mistake. It's a BF special.

Then why would they still have the Producer pack up there for folks to buy at $124 when it is EXACTLY the same offer?

Dunno. If it were a hardware then selling something well below an ordinary price would make one run out of stock with a little to no income. With software a seller always gets a profit and doesn't run out of stock whether buyer gets just one license or a whole bundle. If seller wants to attract buyers, he can offer some "no-brainer" price and increase sells tremendously.

Hope you are right but I am a bit worried.  I have never had a digital product have a lead time of more than about 5 minutes before and it is not showing up in CCC or XLN's installer yet.

I wouldn't refund so many sales. Not sure about XLN Audio and Cakewalk, though.

That's what I figured, too slyman, and if they honor it, then "Happy New Year! LOL

It does seem like it would have shown up in my products, by now, though.

Yes I bought it; no I don't expect to get it. It seems like an error, and from reading the posts here, most agree. Obviously it would be great if it's for real, but if not I imagine the transaction will be cancelled. Either way, I'm not going to be a d**k about it.

Yes, but like others, I hope they address it quickly one way or another as it has already left my paypal account and there are other BF deals I want to do if this is not for real.  I'm not gonna be an ass either, unless they simply sit on my money.  If distribution had a hiccup, so be it.  A mistake I can forgive, failing to rectify quickly is another thing.  Obviously if it is in fact a mistake, they are likely aware of it if that is the reason none of us have seen it in any of our avenues of delivery so far.

I was at a GC during a holiday sale and they'd mismarked Audix OM2's at 3 for $99(vs $99@). They honored their mistake ( I asked first)and I bought 3 3 packs. I chuckled as I drove home. Today will turn out the same....(he said trustingly)

Doesn't take long to remove/correct something from a webpage. But it's Thanksgiving weekend, so their IT dept. may not aware of it yet......

Don't panic, folks! That's a new offering from XLN, they might be busy watermarking, generating serials and whatnot. We shall see in due time whether it's an error or a happy (fund raising) accident for XLN and Cakewalk.

The error is obviously from the Cakewalk Store, as the Custom Pack is listed at the same price as all individual Adpaks. Why would XLN do that??

That is what I was thinking.

The problem will be/is if Cake/XLN honors that, anyone that bought an individual AD pack in the sale might have a complaint leg to stand on, but then again, they had the choice of which product to buy, no one is responsible for their due diligence of discovery but themselves.  Still, could be a PR snafu at the least.

Depends AFAIC.  If Cake would lose munny, then I would happily accept a refund instead of forcing them to lose munny on an honest mistake.

TBC. I eagerly await results as well... My IQ is apparently in high levels, however I've never measured my common sense.

No it means you took a chance.  If you ordered an individual ad pack for $39 while a few lines away they were advertising 3 for $39, then you failed the test.

Anyone besides me thought about calling CW to ask why our downloads have not appeared?  I bought Z3ta and Rapture bundle the other night and the content was instant.  I know they are in-house and this is linked to another company but it might be worth a shot.

Then again, knowing might be a letdown.

Like Wilie Wonka said, "The suspense is terrible, I hope it lasts."

"Loosing money" means they made a mistake, tried to negotiate with XLN, but failed. Then they will loose even more. (Money transfer is not free, and somebody has to take time to make refunds.) I doubt, however, that a software company will use this scenario. It's a lot easier to say  "OK, let 'em have it", than create new problems with upset users, refunds, admitting and correcting "errors" (BTW, who is sure that's an error? I'm not).

The question I am now forced to ask is... should I now nip over to one of the other software suppliers and purchase a deal there (as well as the Cakewalk deal already bought)?
