Anyone know how to "kickstart" CCC when it loses the download flux ?

I'm currently trying to download the Rapture files via the CCC and it seems to have frozen or lost focus at 43.38%

Its been at that level for 30 minutes now and in Task Manager there is no activity on the Ethernet Connection screen. I know I'm connected to the web as I can stream videos on YouTube etc and download other files (and I'm posting this as well).

CCC just seems "stuck" and can't seem to find the flux from whatever server it deals with. So I'd rather not log out (I guess it doesn't have a resume function) - is there anyway to give it a jolt to make it pick up again ?

Cheers,
Jerry

I don't know if the CC has auto-resume (for interrupted downloads) or not.  At this point, you may not have a choice but to cancel the process and start again.

Until recently, I had a slow-as-frozen-molasses DSL line so I can definitely relate, friend.  As others have mentioned, for users with slow download speed, it might be best to dl one section at a time.

If you log into your CW account, you can do this manually and use a download manager.  This will save you if the download gets interrupted again.

Well, i stopped it, re booted and it sort of resumed. To a point of about half where it froze.

Going to leave it running overnight and we'll see.

Cheers,
Jerry
