Well, the deal is still on the Specials page in the Store. I would have thought they'd have pulled it by now if it was an error.

Got an e-mail confirmation for the Custom Pack with a reference number for download but nothing to download that I can see - yet. I assume it will show up in CC? BTW - there are pretty strict FTC rules about advertising stuff then backing out saying it was a mistake - not allowed - and obviously it's for real as I got a confirmation e-mail and confirmation/reference number etc. I don't have anything on my hard drive yet but will take some time to check if it's user error, or wait til the deal shows up in CC.

I think everyone got the confirmation from cleverbridge, but no one that I know of has seen anything in their Cakewalk account. If it is an honest mistake...I would except a refund. Cakewalk has been a fair broker in the 4 years I've been a Sonar user. I don't feel like they owe me anything. I wouldn't want them to have to lose money that could go towards development. I would like to see someone from Cakewalk comment on this issue, and start the process of getting it sorted out one way or the other.

If it is an honest mistake...I would except a refund. Cakewalk has been a fair broker in the 4 years I've been a Sonar user. I don't feel like they owe me anything. I wouldn't want them to have to lose money that could go towards development.
I would like to see someone from Cakewalk comment on this issue, and start the process of getting it sorted out one way or the other.

The xln sale "expires Monday", according to their newsletter. That may not be the case at Audio Deluxe or JRRShop, but we'll have to see.
Instead of buying things in the fall, I start piling up what I might normally spend, in anticipation of all these sales. I think of it as "wise buying" (not to be confused with wise-guying)and am usually really delighted with how much more I end up with. Knowing my SPLAT will end 1/21/16 and my Groove 3 All Access Pass ends in Jan., too, I start aiming for what gear I want to get and wondering what upgrades will become available, like I'm thinking I'll upgrade to Miroslav Philharmonik 2 (which the Pre Order deal ends on Monday, also).
The distracting aspect is when I see a deal on another guitar (I have 20), or pedal, like the Keeley 30msADT, then I get "thrown off course", and excited, but I usually end up sticking with the plan.....mostly! LOL
I am hoping to stick to things that will really expand my horizons and inspire me. I'm not adverse to adding to my fun!

hmmm. I got a message back from Cleverbridge basically saying that my downloads or serials should be in my account.
I sent a message to Cakewalk support asking when this might happen.
So... I don't know anything.

I bit too. I will sort out what drum kit to choose later. IMHO this is the second best BF deal ever. The best deal is getting trueverb for free.

Waves silver for $99 after downloading that seems petty good as well. Not sure I want to deal with ilok however.

I've still got an old usb dongle iLOK from like 12+ years ago. It's still attached to my old P4 XP machine, and I got the desktop iLOK for the Eventide Ultrachannel, though I haven't moved it from my lap top(when it ran Win7) to the new (last Jan) desktop nor Win10, yet. I don't miss anything and would rather avoid hassle, though some seem to deal with it all right.

No dongle is required for Eventide, SoundToys or Waves. They all have dongle free copy protection solutions now. Eventide and SoundToys still use iLok but there is an option to use the all software based version. Waves uses its own proprietary solution.

I guess I wasn't clear about it, but I have the software iLOK version on my laptop. I haven't got around to putting it on my (newer)desktop. I am not sure if I can use the usb dongle. I believe I have Groove Agent 2 and something else on it, but it's been so long, I don't recall.

Never had a dongle. I started my iLok experience with the free Eventide UltraChannel using software based iLok. It worked OK so have added several other products. Have not experienced any iLok issues on my Win7 or new Win10 machine. I still do not have any Waves plug-ins.

Maybe they're still on holiday. Maybe the list of Things To Do is really long. Maybe they're waiting on a call-back from XLN to see if XLN wants to eat the reduction in price. What I do know is that this would be a good time to be downloading the triplets
