solved : split issue

Hi,

I think I discovered accidentically a Sonar feature : it seems I can't split any clips on the board anywhere else that at the time marked by the big vertical bar on the bass track -> as shown on the picture.

Does anyone know what I did and explain to me how to get rid of this limitation ?

Thank you,

Im not to clear on what you're asking.. but if you have Snap to grid on. The curse will obviously default to the grid lines. Same with splitting clips. If you want to split a clip thats between one of the Grid lines, turn off the snap to grid. Sorry if i failed to to meet your target.

    Hi,

Thanks but it is not a snap grid issue : I cannot split anywhere at all except for the vertical bar emplacement on any track. If you look at the snap configuration, it is set on 1 measure.

    Regards,

Do you have that groove clipped? I think that may be your issue. That or it looks like you havve one clip superimposed over another. One or both could be your problem. You may have to bounce that to another track to make that work.

    Hi,

Soory for the uselessness of that thread : it was a momentary bug due to ? I do not know. I worked on some different works since, it was gone when I took it back today. So..

I've had that sort of thing happen on rare occasions myself. All's well that ends well.

Anyway.. A software where a bug can be misunderstood with a new feature must be an excellent software !
