[Solved] Mastering with Ozone 6

I'm stumped.

I export my project as a .wav and then import that file into Ozone 6. I set the various modules so I'm getting a decent overall gain boost, and peaks at about -.2dB. I then export that file and import it into Sonar to view the results of my handiwork.

But the file seems relatively unchanged. According to Sonar's track and Master bus meters, my peaks are around -3dB.

I'm sure I've imported the correct file, and I have no processing applied to the track or Master bus.

Why isn't this file showing the results of Ozone's processing?

Well I tried it again (probably the 10th time), and it now works as expected.

I don't want to think I'm that clueless, but maybe I was importing the wrong file (the pre-mastered version) into Sonar.

I spent hours trying to figure this out.

    Sheesh.

I have heard the 10th time's the charm. I don't know how you are naming the files. It helps me to keep all the file names unique for example an ozone export might have -o6 added to the name.

I keep them in descriptively named folders.

But maybe a descriptive file name would be better. Little chance for confusion that way.

    Thanks.

I always use something like "raw mix" for my pre-Ozone exports.
