I'm not seeing a problem snapping Loop ranges or boundaries in the PRV in Kingston. Are notes snapping as expected in the PRV?

The only issue I continue to see that is somewhat related is that Punch ranges don't snap in any view; the ends will snap, but dragging the range as a unit does not.

Yes the notes is snapping to the grid as expected

And i am talking about the end's of the loop range yes, i can adjust em, but they
do not snap to the grid.

Hmmm... something's a little odd there. I see the note snapping to an 8th at one point thought Global snap is at 1/4, and PRV snap is not enabled. Loop boundaries should honor Global snap in the PRV when PRV snap is disabled, but it seems your PRV snap might be in a bad state. Try enabling it and changing the resolution, and make sure the mode is To and not By.

Do you see this issue in more than one project?

It is already set to : to and not by, as you can see in the video

I have tried other settings too, but i'll flip the switches and try again
And yes i did see the note jumped to an 8'th note, for a sec there.

I do not have any other projects...
but ill make a new project and just pop in a few notes and make a new video again
replacing the other video..

Edit: new video uploaded, have a look at it...

I cant remember i had this issue before, but then again i forget quick...

I meant the To/By setting in the PRV-specific snap which still hasn't been enabled. It's the grid button in the upper right corner of the PRV. It shouldn't be necessary to enable PRV snap to get the Loop range to snap, but I thought you should try it.

Yes it works, when i activate it.

But then again, this overrides the Global setting and is rather confusing
why have two places to set the snap to grid, when we already got the Global setting.

I never activate / use the grid/ snap to in PRV, cause of the Global setting and the
view - Grid resolution- follow snap, settings ... is activated.

The notes will snap to grid, but not the loop, when using Global setting.

Will not mark this one solved..., because it don't work in the Global settings.

I cant remember if it have been working in Previous versions
but i have a feeling that it worked, but then again i do not want to
rollback just to check this out, it is a minor problem..

What I was thinking was if you toggled PRV snap on and off that Global snap might take over as it should. Have you tried that? Global snap is working for me to snap loop points in the PRV timeline with PRV snap disabled.

There are many reasons for maintaining different Global and PRV snap resolutions. The primary one for me is to have a higher visual grid resolution in the PRV for reference when quantizing and fixing timing errors while snapping by measures in the track view when changing the arrangement, setting loop points, etc.

I can confirm that snap between PRV and global settings is extremely unpredictable (this is H rev of Platinum) and it has been for a good while.    There are constant weird changes.    I use multiple, floating, locked-contents PRV windows, possibly this is a factor.
