Vienna ensemble pro and sonar

Hi all
Right now still using Cakewalk sonar 8.5 producer 64 bit but plan to upgrade to platinum this year. I'm in the process of building my own workstation but for now I have a Hp Z400 with a second 1tb drive for main os and programs I'm mostly use ableton live 9 suite reason 8 and sonar my main daw. I have asecond 3tb for sound libraries and loops and external harddrive for recording projects.  I also have a hp z200 xeon which can have at least 3  hard drives  I don't own vienna pro yet but would like to install on the hp z200 and use that machine for vsts
Just wondering how does it network to sonar and would like to also use it with live, I mostly just use reason as a sound design tool.
would like to hear from others using vienna in this type of setup

Thanks

I use Vienna Pro and have done for quite a few years - I have a network Switch and just plug my computers via that - I keep my old Computers when I get a new one and just add to network.
Used to be really helpful when Computers were not quite so powerful, although not quite so important these days.
however if your main Computer goes down, you have a ready replacement!
As to Vienna Pro, it really is easy to set up and use and is also rock solid.

You'd be surprised how many people buy it to use on a single machine without having a slave device.
