I broke time this morning.

Actually it was the clock in the bathroom next to the closet. One minute I'm opening the closet door next to the clock and the next thing I hear a crash with glass everywhere.

I'm blaming Daylight Saving Time.

Other possibilities include suicide, an ill fated escape attempt or me disturbing it's morning levitation exercises and tragically breaking it's trance. There's another theory that "Drew is clumsy", but I'm discounting that one for now.

Anyway things are all (more) askew today as I was forced to operate a vacuum cleaner before having coffee this morning, which is surely a fate which should be wished on no one. And I'm not sure what I might have inadvertently vacuumed up, but I'm pretty sure some of my vintage dust and hair collection is gone now.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I don't know much of anything other than "bad things happened before coffee".

That was one of Tim Vine's. I believe it won 'Best Joke' award at the Edinburgh Fringe a couple of years ago.

I dunno. I'd have to ask my metro gnome about that one.

The lovely female here is much too tall and way, way, way too sweet to be a gnome.

And if there was another female, I'm pretty sure I'd remember apologizing to her.

Well, if you don't see your teeth in there ... that's a good thing I would imagine.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
