Best way to get all Platinum features+what are the best downloads

Hello all,
Michael here. Because of having to finish two long term projects and installing a new system I have just recently purchased Platinum (took the one time payment option.) Could any professionals or productive music makers in the blues/pop/gospel/acoustic genre suggest to me the can't live without downloads or point me to a page where they all are and I can read and choose for myself? I also mix/master so any plug-in info would be helpful.

Greatly appreciated.

I pretty much stick with in the box plugs for mixing, pro channel stuff is indispensable, the compressors are great and the console emulations are really nice too, along with the quad eq, you have everything you need. I also make heavy use of the VX64 vocal strip. And I like the tape emulation so much that I started a love thread for it. :) And between Dimension Pro, Rapture and Z3ta and Addictive Drums, and all the others that come with Platinum, I'm pretty set for VST instruments.

For mastering I use Izotope's Ozone 7 Advanced, which I really like. To be honest, though, you don't really need it if you dig the sounds of the Nomad Blue Tube suite's stuff. I use the limiter for drum and bass buses sometimes, and I use the Audio TrackBox plug quite a lot for goosing up various instruments.

So I haven't felt the need to buy anything else to use for recording and mixing. Everything is there that I need right now, but I'm not a professional and I only record myself one channel at a time, so you should pay more attention to a real pro when one chimes in here.

If you're new to the Command Center, opening it up will show you a list of all available downloads related to your license. You'll get a better picture what's available to lookup for further reading.

I should probably start a new thread as I realize I asked 2 specific questions. I use wave plug-ins and have for years but was wondering if anyone is using the Sonar ones. I have no experience with them.

Well, it's your thread here, I guess you can take it where you want it to go. :)

I've not used any Waves stuff but I know lots of people here do and swear by them. The in the box Pro Channel modules are really quite good. Just open it up from the inspector and click in the presets box (the uber-tiny left icon)and you'll be given some nice ones that Craig Anderton put together that will not only show you what's there but some keen-o ways to use them.  You can also check out the FX Chains that Craig built that lever things like the VX64 channel strip (my fav) and TH Producer amp sims. Lots of great stuff.
