mixIR 2

Had this for quite a while now, came with the Redwirez BIGbox bundle of cab impulses (also available separately). Finally got around to having a play with mixIR 2, it's very good, also with the BIGbox bundles comes Speaker Impedance cures, EQ curves form a Neve 1073 among other stuff. This certainly opens up the game, not only can you just load your choice of cab impulse, but then you can mess around with the various EQ curve IR's and Speaker Impedance IR's to tweak that sound even more, very nice indeed, and you can actually enhance your tone quite a bit.
 
You could also add reverb IR's if you like, then when you are finished tweaking your sound you are not stuck with having to use mixIR 2 as your IR/cab thingy, you can just hit the export button and you will have all your tweaks, EQ curves, Speaker Impedance curves, Reverb IR's whatever baked into a single .wav file, which you can then use as a cab IR in whatever Amp Sim, Cab Sim is compatible. I tested out the single file against the other files loaded into mixIR 2 and I can't tell the difference. I have only tried the resulting .wav/IR file in TH2[link=mailto:TH@,],[/link] TH3, BIAS Amp Pro, BIAS FX Pro, and it works fine, so I guess it should work in most.
 
Love it, really does work well, and does have the ability to enhance things quite a bit. Very Cool
