If I install Kingston (my first upgrade) do I need to install the earlier upgrades? --and

if so, how do I know which ones. The way the X versions and before sometimes used to work is that if you upgraded to the latest, you didn't need to install the earlier versions. More specifically, is there any thing in Jamaica or earlier versions that I am missing?

Thank you

Are you going to be using the CCC (Cakewalk Command Center) to do the upgrade, or download the patch manually?  I would suggest downloading the latest version of the CCC first and using that to guide you through the upgrade.  This will also show you any other available upgrades and give you a nice easy rollback should you decide to go back.

Did you also install the sub folder contents within Platinum ?

For me (using CCC), I do need to install the Drum Replacer separately.

If you already have the Nomad Factory Integral Studio Pack installed separately, you may avoid the Studio Mixing Suite (it's a subset of Nomad's Integral Studio Pack - but locked to only work with Sonar). Installing this will override some files of your full Nomad version if you're using the default (same) installation folder.

Yes, did this.
Thanks. Mainly just wondering what I missed in the last year.
