Extracting individual tracks in 8:5:3

I am retrieving old rehearsals and found some absolute gems, some as far back as '96 in Sonar 2 from stored bundles.
all are unpacking properly but I need to split the sets into individual tracks/songs.
I have a method but it`s so time consuming I would be embarrassed to share it here.
is there an express method for extracting takes from long continuous sessions in Sonar 8:5:3?.
thanks in advance

It has been years since working with SONAR 8.5, I believe it was possible to select a time range after selecting all tracks and SONAR would export the selection.

thanks scook-it`s easy enough to split, save and delete-just time consuming-was looking for a shortcut or easier way so will research the time range function.
    thanks again

You may want to place markers in the project. Then make selections based on the markers. Another time based selection uses the Select From/Through Now. I can't recall if 8.5 supports dragging the mouse on the timeline.

+1 on what scook said.  That is how I do it.  Select a range (Start and stop of a song) on the time bar, then select tracks to export and Export.  This has not changed from 8.5 to SPlat today.

Yeah that's how I do it too. Place markers, split tracks between markers, hilight the tracks and then export. I actually still have 8.5 installed if you need me to check anything or do anything for you? :)
