Melodyne changes clip volume

When I insert Melodyne as a region FX the region's volume is decreased by several dB. I then have to dick around with the amplitude tool to get it back where it was. Is this normal? I'd expect the volume to remain constant. Am I doing something stupid?

Thanks,
Tom

For me, rendering an edited Melodyne clip increased the clip volume by ±3db.  It's been doing that for some time now.  I haven't done a comparison in the new Kingston patch yet.

That's interesting. I noticed the change before rendering. Now that I've mucked with the amplitude of the regions, I wonder what will happen when I render... we'll see.
