Installing 32BIt program in a 64Bit environment

 
Stuff: Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz, Phys Mem.: 8.00 GB/DDR2,  Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1, Audio:TASCAM US-144 MKII,
 
I had a "stacked" install of Sonar Prod. 2 & 3 & Platinum 32 & 64-Bit ... Had to completely re-install on a fresh hard drive (couldn't clone because of prob with orig. "C" drive.
 
I had installed "Broomstick Bass" on the older system ... on this "new" install, it wil install, but tries to install the ".dll" in the "Programs/etc." folder instead of "Programs (86)" folder,I tell it to install in the proper "86" folder, it shows up in the Platinum plugin menu as the color green and marked as 32Bit, but only the "frame", I guess y ou'dcall it, shows up ... it has the menu bar, but the "body" of the program is grey /blank - nothing but a light grey background.
 
I've installed, re-installed, checked the Registry and cleaned it every time ... the only differences that I've found are that Sonar has it (in the registry) in the 64Bit plugin folder ... and the older registry on the original disk (I still have it loaded asit came out of the machine) has it under the wow6432node, but it's notin the "new" registry ...
 
I talked to the program's author, and he's stumped ...
