Anyone using a Novation Launch Control MIDI Controller with Sonar?

Anyone using a Novation Launch Control MIDI Controller with Sonar?
Thinking about getting one to use as a control surface for the Pro Channel EQ.
Has anyone successfully mapped a controller to the PC EQ yet?

    For PC EQ there are 2 ways (only, and the first one in case that is not XL version):
    1) ACT. You can use "ACT MIDI" plug-in for that.
    Pros:
    * easy to setup
    * CakeWalk standard tools
    * you can control other modules / FXes / VSTi
    Cons:
    * ACT mapping "drive some people crazy..." (the subject of one recent thread in Sonar board)
    * EQ should be in focus. You can not control it when some other plug-in is in focus, after focusing different strip you need manually focus its EQ
    * there will be no light from LEDs

    2) My plug-in (see the signature).
    Pros:
    * can "follow" focused strip and "find" its EQ. So you are always controlling EQ in parallel with other FX/VSTi in focus (in one mode, strip and ACT can also be configured).
    * can be configured to control several EQs/Comps in parallel
    * LEDs can show valuable information (band enable for example)
    Cons:
    * hard to configure initially (I can help since the protocol documentation is available)
    * closed source, "one man made" tool

    For ready to use with ProChannel solutions, assuming you are not against option number 2, have a look at BCR2000 instead:
    * endless encoders with ring indication
    * can do much more than just PC/ACT

    But since you have nanoKontrol and Faderport you probably already know about my plug-in capabilities

    Oh yes! Using it for both!
    If I end up buying one, I'll try setting up with option two.
    Thanks azslow3!

    Hey! As the author of the "ACT is driving me crazy" post, I am interested in the nanokontrol for the Azslow3 plug in. I have done the quick start and it works fine but I have not had any time to pursue it further. Any chance on getting the setup for the nanocontrol?
    Thanks.

    I misspoke, I'm not using nanoKontrol with AZController, I have it set up only as transport controls velcro'd to my keyboard.

    I'm using it with my FaderPort and the preset for the Novation Launch Control by azslow3 is coming along great!!!
    At present, he has it fully functional, now just fine-tuning it for visual and ergonomic workflow.

    azslow3 did a great job integrating my Novation Launch Control into a ProChannel EQ controller!!!
    It would have been nice if the Launch Control had endless rotary encoders but it works great fr the price!
