Perplexing Plug-in issue [Solved]

Hi- I recently downloaded a new plug in from Waves - It is licensed and activated according to all indications.... Ok it appears on my Plug-In manager window - I placed it in my menu in my "Waves" folder, so it shows up (in Plug in manager)-BUT now when I open up my plug in menu in the channel fx bin - it is nowhere on the list??!! Did this procedure several times - same thing

thanks in advance for help.... CS

You haven't mentioned whether you did a VST rescan after the install ?
Assuming your Waves folder is listed as a valid VST Scan Path in Preferences - VST Settings.
Does the new plugin have a stand alone mode that opens correctly ?
    Is this a VST2 or VST3 plugin ?
