New Poem Started for retirees

Hi,

time changes, it comes and will go
and we think about ... times aglow
hoping to find, at the end of the road
a fleeting thought, ideas will load
...
time changes, it comes and will go
and we wonder who is Michelangelo
...

(actually wrote this at work for a retiring fellow member of our group ... with a thank you to TS for his inspiration!). There will be more to it, but this is the start!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

I had to take
the batteries out of
my carbon monoxide alarm.

The loud beeping was
giving me a headache and
making me feel sick and dizzy.

I wandered lonely as an arse
The boy stood on the burning arse
Once upon a midnight arse
There was a young man from Nantuckarse
I must go down to the seas again, the lonely sea and the arse
Shall I compare thee to summer's arse

I prefer Haiku.

I hate the sea birds
That gather all around me
And crap on my shirt

I think you should raise the bass lower the toms and tame those cymbals.

It's a great start though.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

My thoughts exactly ... but I guess that some folks couldn't careless for a poem, any more than they do lyrical BS. Can you imagine what Byron or Shelley would say these days? Frankenstein would never have been written!

Yes, I can see that your poem is on the literary level of Byron or Shelley. My bad.

Yes, they would say ''don't give up your day job Pedro, now pass us the absinthe''

I wish! I can't write like them at all, and would never try! Sadly the comment was about the time and the friends creating stuff during their fun time ... and not about the writing itself  ... and then these turkeys here talk about my this and that and unintelligeable ****!
