The reason why cancer has become more common over the years is because we are living longer. Most cancers occur past the age of 60, stands to reason that it would become more of a problem when life expectancy increased.

i USED to think that,
until i read this report.
It's still true. Cancer is way more prevalent among the elderly than it is among young people. So while environmental factor undoubtedly contribute toward the development of cancer, age is also a huge factor.

I thought it was in the jeans... oh wait, that's something else. No cancer I know of in either side of my family. In my wife's family though. All the men in my family die after saying either, "hey y'all, watch this" or "Nah, I'll be ok tomorrow".
My wife has had a melanoma caught early and removed from her shoulder, several squamous cell carcinomas removed, and multiple basal cell carcinomas. They didn't see the melanoma when they did the body scan. The surgeon saw it when he was doing something else. He asked about it and if he could do a biopsy, he cut it out that day. I'm glad he caught it, they are deadly and fast. Can't believe they missed it when they found all the other stuff, it was right beside something else.
Actually, I've had one basil cell removed. They want to do a blue light treatment on my scalp... I am waiting until after my birthday in January, I hear it is makes for a BAD day. I guess I'll find out.
I'll read the link and get my wife to read it too. Thanks for posting it.
