Klanghelm VU meters UI problem
For some reason, both mono versions of this meter VUMTSolo.vst3 and VUMTSolo.dll now come up in a window that is too big for the meter GUI. It's the right height, but it's too wide, a bit less than two vumeters wide. If I resize the window to the proper size and close it and open it again, it's back to being too wide. I'm pretty sure the mono meters used to display properly. The stereo versions VUMTDuo display correctly. This happens in Sonar X1 and above on both my laptop and floortop. Most of my other plugins display properly. Could someone who uses these meters tell me if the mono meters display correctly on your system ? Is there a way to adjust the default size of a vst's window ? Pentagon I also comes up in a window that's too big and it didn't used to, but it's been that way for a long time. It's no big deal, but it's a bit annoying to adjust the window size everytime I open a meter. I haven't change my screen resolutions, if that matters.

Same here with the Klanghelm mono's. I just leave 'em and don't worry about it.

Thanks Pete. This saves me from also worrying about it (and maybe I just always used the stereo ones and hadn't noticed before). I may contact the company to see what the designer has to say.

If the window weren't as wide as it is, where would the right half of the menu bar go?

Astute ! This must be the cause, I hadn't noticed. So Sonar's doing it. I've often thought that plugins would look nicer if they had minimal borders, and certainly no unneeded buttons, and this is another case. Thanks TheMaartian.

The Mono Klanghelm meter displays normally for me in Studio One V3. However I cannot resize anything. The size in my case is fixed and has been well chosen.
