Hi. The song is awesome. The mix in my ears could be improved (or made worse) by boosting the volume in the chorus section and perhaps even sung more powerfully but like this it is in my ears already very good. I just think that the old raise volume or tempo in chorus might improve things. Like this it is very subtle so if your aim was that then do not change a thing. Mix sounded good imo.

Really nice song – original, well arranged, well played and fun (strong melody and chords). The Hofner of course piqued my interest – glad it did. Mix sounds a little rough but I don’t have the chops to make a meaningful suggestion – but there are a ton of people here that can – I’m sure you’ll hear from them. Good stuff!

excellent song! In my ears the vocals are panned a little right and could be brought up a touch, the bass back just a touch... or it may be my settings. Really enjoyed listening. Thanks for sharing.

    Really nice song and arrangement.
    Mix needs help.
If you A/B this to other songs on this forum, you may find that your mix is lacking mids and highs.
I think you can fix this in mastering it.
If you want to PM me and send me the stereo mix, I can show you what I would do to it.

Wow, love the song.... Guitar sounds really sweet as do the vocals. Bass is a little strong as is the percussive's at times.  I'm getting a bit of a Rubber Soul vibe from this.   Cool !

Yeah, the song itself sounds good and has that Beatles-esque vibe happening.    A little mix work could really pull it forward.

The song is really good.    The song and performance are good, wouldn't change a thing.

Mix has some issues as it lacks highs and mids..   If you re-mix, looking forward to a re-mix repost.

Very nice sound and arrangement on this -- very creative use of the percussion.  Perhaps the bass needs a little compression to make it stand out more in the mix -- a little muddy to me. Creative use of the guitars in adding to the arrangement too.  As for the song I think if you'd gone into the chorus sooner and with a different emphasis than the verses it would be more impactful.  Good work.

Others have given you good advice on the mix, so I'll just say good song.  I hope to hear this again.

Cool song, and the observations about the Beatles are my thoughts exactly.

Mix-wise, I'd pull the bass down .5 db at most, and more of a drop to those congo/bongo? The congo/bongo reminds me of a horse galloping through your studio :) and in my limited experience I find reverbing up the bongos makes 'em sit better.

The ending - great! Love that sustained bass note! Your bass I think has a pretty good tone to begin with.

You have doubled your vocals in many spots but not all, and where you haven't it's noticeable, at least to me. You might add just a pinch of pitchshifting (like a Soundtoys Mircoshift or Eventide Harmonizer) but really a little is all you would need to thicken all the vocals up a tad. Your voice has a cool quality to it.

I'd like to hear where this one ends up! Cool tune!

    cheers,
    -Tom

    Great song! Very Beatleesque.

The acoustic sounds like it has dead strings. Just brighten them up and I think the mix will be fine.

    Nice!
