Native Instruments "Holiday Gift"
A freebie ??...
You need to upgrade to Reaktor 6 or use the free Reaktor 6 player. I have Komplete 10 and Komplete Kontrol...I have spent a lot of bucks with NI, and yet I need to upgrade to play their free .ens in Reaktor ??
Not really a gift so much as a marketing teaser....Happy F'in Holidays from NI !

That was my experience. Got it installed and spent about 10 minutes trying to trouble-shoot why it didn't work in 5 (I have K10 Ultimate).
A bit of a crappy way to give a gift. At the very least they could have made it more obvious that it doesn't run with the version in K10...

I guess the reality is that for Reaktor 6 ensembles you have to either have Reaktor 6 or the Reaktor 6 player. For a freebie I'm not complaining - it was just one extra download. One thing I'm unsure of though - can I run Reaktor 6 ensembles from the User Library in the Reaktor 6 player?

apparently there is no issue having full version reaktor 5 and free reaktor player 6 working side by side. I have not been able to see if it will come up in Komplete Kontrol or not, and frankly I am not that interested in experimenting lest I break something else. I do already have a 100 or so free reaktor ensembles I never use, so what's another one ?  JR

Actually for me this has been a great gift. I only use Reaktor5 to load up things like Monark, Prism and such. So the Reaktor6 player suits me much better. I know that Reaktor is one king hell powerful piece of something or other but...it scares me.
