That equals 12 months of updates from Alston to Lexington. That would seem to indicate that you will need to update or keep what you have.

The question of updates has come up several times in the last month with members asking the same question.

Willy is working now on how they will deal with the end of a years cycle and updating info automatically for those that renew and ho the renewal process might best take place. Rest assured that Cakewalk are on it and will have it sorted before the date of the earliest updates which would fall due on Jan 21st 2016.

If you're not planning to renew then you have nothing to do. Check your Sonar about screen and it will tell you how far you're paid up to. No renewal = no updates past that point.

Here is my experience with Sonar Platinum.

I purchased a Sonar Platinum monthly membership in January 2015 for $AU17.99 per month.  Each Cleverbridge invoice was received dutifully on the 17th of each month of 2015 (Jan to Dec, inclusive) which I paid.  A few days later, after each payment, the month thru date advanced by one month in Sonar's "Help About".

On the invoice dated December 17, 2015 invoice , it stated that the monthly subscription will increase to AU$ 26.17 a month (which equates to $AU314.04 for 12 months)

I then noticed that Sonar Platinum for one year membership only costs $AU175.00.  So my next move was a no-brainer.

What I did was I purchased a one year membership for Sonar Platinum for $AU175.00.  I then proceeded to cancel the monthly membership using the link provided on the last Cleverbridge monthly membership receipt.

I confirmed that the payment of $AU175.00 for Sonar Platinum shows up in my Cleverbridge account as well as all the previous monthly payments of $AU17.99 for Sonar Platinum.

I just hope the roll over from monthly to yearly goes smoothly.  I will see what happens when I get the Lexington update and what eventually ends up in Sonar Platinum's "Help About".  (Pray it does not revert to demo mode).

Hi. I saw someone of the Cakewalk staff say that this will be taken care of before the new renewal date. Hopefully everything will be up and running by then.

Purchased SPLAT in January. Will Lexington be my last Update, without renewing?

I think the short answer to your question is YES!

It seems for the last few updates they have been released on or about the 22nd of the month. So if you expire on Jan 21, 2016 and the next update is on Jan 22 or later, it's not yours.
