X3 Studio: Pro Channel EQ doesn't "stay"

On several projects, I EQ tracks with the Prochannel EQ, and sometime later all tracks are flatlined again, even though the eq is still turned on. Is this a bug? Is there something I am accidentally doing that is making me lose all the eq? Thanks.
