Trouble Opening omf from Adobe Premiere CS 5.5 in Sonar X3 - 'error reading wave data'

I am having a problem opening an OMF file in Sonar. I am using Sonar X3 Studio and an RME Fireface.

I am trying to import an OMF of film dialogue so that I can edit and do the post-production for a short film (under 5 mins). The OMF was made using Adobe Premiere CS5.5 and exported so that the audio files are WAVs in 24bit at 48,000.

I have set up my sound card and DAW so that they have matching settings in this regard. However, when I try to open the OMF itself it asks me to locate a piece of audio or other, when I find the matching file in the OMF's audio folder SONAR tells me that the audio file does not match despite the file having the exact same name as the one requested.

The OMF then fails to open, quoting "error reading wave data". I have looked on the cakewalk site for any suggestions on how to successfully import OMFs, but so far to no avail. I have even tried using the search button and letting the computer match the right file for me, but it still does not work and I am met with the same error.

Has anyone had this problem and found a way to solve it?
