Selectionne une piste, puis tappe "Alt-6".

I think it's fine for Rocky,  it appears he communicates in French just fine, as do I.  Nothing against French (I love it) or any other language.  It is just that you open yourself up to a much larger knowledge base if you post in English.  It greatly increases your odds for a response.  Rocky might have been a little short with his reply.

Le français est bien, mais s'il vous plaît éviter Klingon

I didn't mean to sound short. I actually don't communicate well in French. I used an online translator to reply trying to say what you just said but it didn't translate as eloquent.

If it's a midi clip you recorded or opened, selecting it and hitting alt-6 should do it. If it doesn't, perhaps it's not a midi clip?

And it turns out that the keyboard shortcut is Alt-7 in french instead of Alt-6.

EDIT:  This is probably due to a typo in the first reference to the Staff View keyboard shortcut in the french X3 manual that I referred to, since I don't have the french platinum manual.  Subsequent references in the same manual show the normal Alt-6. (Alt-7 is loop construction).
