Lexington Glitch?

I was playing around with some HD500X patches this morning and noticed that the guitar audio was passing through to the master bus even though I had the inputs muted, the track muted, and the input echo turned off.
I finally found the audio coming through my frozen EZ Keys track. (EZKeys was on track 4 the guitar was track 15).
Also, I've tried everything and can't get the track to un-freeze. I bounced the audio of EZ Keys to a new track and muted track 4.
Strange. Any ideas?

I have something similar .... I have a project where I have a few tracks that have their outputs on a stereo bus with a sidechain compressor on it. There is a track with a kick on it (and output to the master) that I  sent pre fader to trigger the bus compressor.  There two weird things happened : when I muted the kick track the sound still came out through the master bus and only stopped when I disabled the send. The other thing is that even if the send is pre fader it only triggers the compressor if the volume fader is open, or there is a valid output to the master....It is an older project before the actual update and the new projects seems ok.

This could be a corrupted project which may or may not have been Lexington related.
I can't pan anything now. Under the pan knob it says, pan 0% C+. Under the volume knob it says, 0.0 +.
I can turn the pan and volume knobs, but the pan doesn't so anything.
My EZ Keys track is frozen it will not un-freeze.
My other projects seem fine.

Thanks, once again scook. I still don't know why my EZ Keys track won't un-freeze, but it's a simple part. I just bounced the audio and deleted that track...problem solved!

Is it possible the audio tracks were recorded and not frozen? This has been available since Ipswich.

FWIW, there is no default keyboard shortcut for offset mode in Platinum. Is is possible you imported settings from a previous version?

I'm not sure what happened. It's pretty strange. On the track the freeze button was greyed out, but in the browser it looked normal. Neither worked. Luckily the part was finished and very simple, so bouncing the audio will work for me. I haven't seen anyone else report this...so maybe it's just with me or my system.

Do you put EZ Keys tracks in a folder and arm using the record button on the folder?

I just did the simple midi track option. That's usually good enough for me.

I don't know if this is related, but a project I'm currently working on displayed similar inconsistencies with regards to the Freeze button.

All of the freeze buttons in the synth rack were greyed out, but were normal in track view.
I found that if I simply hit solo or mute on & off for each track, the freeze option then became available in the rack.

hmmm, mine was the other way around, but I'll try that if it comes up again. Hopefully it's a minor glitch that doesn't come up again.
