Give us your suggestions for Tidying up the New Start Screen (SS)

The purpose of this discussion is to try to make the new Start Screen (SS) even more useful.  The SS is likely to be quite helpful for those using a touch screen, however, IMO it is only a moderate improvement over  previous methods to someone who uses a mouse.  This seems like a missed oportunity since it could be so much more.  Here are some ideas to get things started.
 
1) The SS should have an option to start up after closing down the last project.  Recently posted at http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3327966 
 
2)  When the mouse hovers over a Project or Template Name in the SS the first few lines of the Project/Info Description could be displayed, e.g. in the lower left corner instead of the Tips.

Suggestions for posting to this discussion:
- Identify whether you primarily use a mouse or touch screen.
- Adhere to a  "brainstorming approach", e.g. give your ideas without regard to whether they would be hard to implement, avoid negative comments about other posters ideas where possible and feel free to build on previous ideas.
- You are encouraged to borrow ideas from other programs, after all, everyone else does.
- If you already posted an idea somewhere else feel free to reference it.
- Avoid defending or denigrating Sonar.  Feel free to start your own post for this.
- Stick to the subject; Please refrain from dropping names, telling us how good a programmer you are or how long you have been using Sonar.
 
The motivation for this post is to get all the ideas for the SS in one place so, hopefully,  the CW programmers could implement all the good ideas at once.

    Have a short audio grab of the song available on mouse over or button, sort of like you can audition loops etc, quality unimportant, but if you are like me and have heaps of Song 15, song 16, Idea 08, Idea 09 etc, it would aid greatly in identification in such circumstances. I know it would probably be easily solved by having song titles, but you don't always have that at the time.
     
    No idea how easy or difficult this would be to implement, and there could be many ways to achieve it, automatically, manually, via save or whatever. But it would save trudging through the open close projects looking for what you want. I would find it very handy, but no one else may.

    An option to completely disable any reaching out to the internet. Not even to look for an active internet connection.
     
    I refuse to use it until this is done and am annoyed it hasn't been implemented yet.
