weird problem with carbon electra

I just picked up carbon electra from pluginboutique when it was on sale last week
The VST gui shows in bright pink- essentially unusable although I did manage to navigate to my key file and can jog through presets in a daw or as a plugin in advance vip/ maschine/ akai mpc - gui still shows up in pink though. this is for both the 32 and 64 bit versions. Sounds ok. I tried this on 2 systems where I have sonar installed, both w7 64.
I sent an email to support and they seem surprised to hear it- but had to date no solutions.
Today, I tried it on my laptop (W7/ 64) onto which I downloaded reaper for the purpose of testing as i had no daw on it previously- scanned and the vst showed up properly- no pink. I tested this with the 32 and 64 dlls, I copied the dlls directly, I networked the dll to scan in my vst but on my 2 daw systems it shows pink but not when on the laptop.
I have no issues with any graphics on any of my systems except this- both my pcs are using nvidia geforce pci.
 
dxdiag seems fine. flash up to date.
something weird--- any ideas folks ?

    I have had it since release, and haven't had any issues with it at all, not sure if I was still using Sonar then though. I reinstalled it a couple of weeks or so ago before I went on vacation, so I will go and kick it in the guts and load Carbon Electra and get back to you, definitely no issues in Studio One 3.

    No it's fine for me. Sonar Platinum Lexington, Windows 10 Pro.
     
    Is there an updated driver for your graphics you can try? wont hurt

    thanks- Im fairly certain this issue is one that is isolated to my 2 pcs- as it is fine on my laptop. Graphic drivers up to date. real head scratcher here.
