Global Audio Folder with SPLAT....am I doing something wrong?

Global Audio Folder with SPLAT....am I doing something wrong?

On my main system I have an SSD for my C drive (Windows, all programs). I have a 2 TB SATA drive as my E drive. Under the Audio Data option I have all my audio set to go a folder on my E drive (Global Option), yet when I open a new template it prompts me with the New Project Dialogue box and it always wants to put the audio in a folder on my C drive by default. It's as if this box overrides the global option. I can change it with 2 mouse clicks but would rather that dialogue box follow my global settings. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

    I believe the dialog uses the "Project Files" setting in Preferences > File > Folder Locations and defaults audio to the per-project audio folder.
