Project that was created in Sonar 5 into Sonar Platinum hides bound effects

Hello,
 
When I load projects that were created in Sonar 5 that have audio effects into Platinum they do not show up on the track. However, since if the project was saved with the effect window open you will see the effect window. For example I have Ozone 4, I load the project and the Ozone 4 window displays and I can edit it. However, if I close it, it does not show up as far of the FXs on the track. I have no way to re-load it or delete it.
 
Additionally, if I try to add a new instance of Ozone 4 to another track, I get the Ozone window but it is completely white (blank) with the plugin's visuals not displayed and no error message appears.
 
odd behavior indeed. Any suggestions?
