Changing the name of a VST plug-in in the Insert menu

When I click to insert a soft synth, Kontact 5.1 shows up 3 times.  They are all different, but are labelled the same.  I want to label them so they will say "Kontact-8 out" and "Kontact 16 out" etc.

I presume the Plug-in manager would be the place to do that, and I have gone into the plug-in properties area and typed my preferred designations.  But, they do not show up as such in the Insert Menu.

Any ideas?

I used Plug-in Manager to build my own layouts to get around this.  BTW, I find the Browser much easier ...

Another benefit of the custom layouts is that the new names persist in the custom layouts across updates.  Go ahead, experiment, you won't hurt anything.
