ASUS P8P67 BIOS changes

Hello all - Happy New Year to everyone.

I was mucking around my BOIS this evening and noted 2 things which I thought had been disabled when the DAW was built - perhaps not though.  Having read numerous times in this forum regarding Audio Contoller and Bluetooth I find the following still enabled in BIOS

HD Audio Controller
Bluetooth Controller

These are those I've read about and should be disabled, correct -  given the DAW hardly/rarely ever sees the inter-web and I certainly don't use Bluetooth or on-board audio for anything ?

Thanks and Best Regards,

 Bill -

Perhaps they have already been disabled in windows Bill? Check under device manager.

I have the same MB and disabled those in the device manager (not BIOS) as mentioned above. I actually use the HD audio for Windows sounds, and not had issues.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

If you are NEVER going to use those then disable them in the BIOS.  However, if there is a chance you will use one or both then they can be disabled in the Windows Device Manager.
