Using Command Center to Update Sonar

Hello.  I am using Sonar Platinum and Win 7.
I installed Sonar originally using a custom installation (i.e. not in the default C:\Program Files\Cakewalk location).  I naively thought I could use Command Center to update my original installation of Sonar, but instead Command Center simply created an entirely new installation of Sonar at the default location alongside my existing original installation.
I cannot access Command Center to look at the instructions for use and help files on my DAW, because the DAW is not online - when I launch the Command Center, all I see is a message telling me the Command Center cannot find an internet connection (to update Sonar I have to physically move the DAW out of the studio to where my internet router is).
Can anyone tell me if Command Center will allow me to update Sonar while maintaining my original file structure, or will Command Center require me to use the default file structure when I update?
Are the full user instructions for Command Center available here at the CW web-site?
What about updating Rapture and zTa3+2: can I use Command Center to update those programs in their already-installed locations?

Thanks.

My DAW is off line so I follow the instructions for offline installation which are here somewhere.
Works just fine,, other than my version is always a few releases behind times, no big deal I'm recording without issues.
I bought a USB wireless dongle so I could go online to update but have stayed with manual install with that computer. Installing Command Centre after the fact seems to not work and it just keeps saying stupid things. I gave up.

I use Command Centre on my laptop and it is a much better system if you have the bandwidth. I have to take my laptop to someone elses house to update. In my Studio I only have 3 gigs a month so it costs me about $30 in over draft to use CC.

There is in the options of CC all the file pathways to install in custom locations look for the little gear.
