Cannot find Missing audio

I cannot find missing audio from projects created in previous versions of Sonar (Sonar X1, X2, X3) with my current version Platinum.
I think all the files are still on my computer, but have been moved during the upgrades somewhere else as they are not found when I open the project.
All my 'Music' files are on an external disk, but I cannot direct a search in Sonar to this drive as it automatically searches through the C Drive and not the other drive I want it to look at. Any suggestions please?

    Are you using per project folders?
     
    Is you Project folder on Your C drive?  Not a good plan better to have them on a separate drive.
