[Solved] http://cakewalknews.cakewalk.com re-routes to bronto.com !?!

I don't like being tracked, so when I get the Cake news e-mails, I delete them and go directly to the official site.

This time I decided to trim away the identifying extension and only use the main part of the url, viz:

http://cakewalknews.cakewalk.com

The crazy thing is, it re-routes to a completely unrelated website:

https://app.bronto.com/login/index/login/

What's going on?

Bronto is a platform that automates e-commerce and marketing campaigns, such as newsletters. Some tasks are better left to companies that specialize in those tasks. By stripping off the extension, I think you've removed the part that takes you to "Cakewalk-land."

Bronto is the app Cake uses to distribute the CakeNews emails.
    http://cakewalknews.cakewalk.com
is where you would login to manage the Bronto app if you worked for Cakewalk.
(to send a CakeNews email, etc).
If you are referring to the SHOP BY CATEGORY links at the bottom of the email, just go to the Cakewalk store which is where the SHOP BY LINKS go anyway (without redirect via Bronto).

I haven't received a Cakewalk newsletter in over 4 years I believe now. I sent emails to cakewalk support and and posted on this forums plenty of time.   I have almost every version of Sonar since Sonar 2.2 XL, I think I only skipped 3 versions.  What gives Bakers??  I still haven't received my cakewalk email.

Wait, I do receive emails from Cakewalk, that's when they send me my receipt for me purchasing another product from the Cakewalk online store.

    Peace,

Are the CakewalkNews emails perhaps being treated as spam by your email client?

Weird, I get 2 of every email. Sorry. I'm probably getting extra while someone is missing out.
