Need a nervous bass

Here is a clip from soundcloud that we're working on. The timing is a little off still but good enough to see what I'm looking for. I'm thinking Phaser but can't seem to find one I like. The track is my Takamine thru the C1 comp, doubler2, and Enigma stereo...

I can't seem to adjust these for bass so anyone got any ideas how I can get a nervous bass in Sonar?

I'm not sure what you're asking for here. Are you wanting to augment the existing passage to have more bass, or do you want a matching bass line with the same kind of quality as the recording?

A somewhat matching bass tone.  I'm channeling Ballad of Dwight FRY for the general nervousness/paranoia feel. It's about a girl named Nancy......

I've had the unfortunately affliction of a nervous bass since I was a young lad... minus the "b".

Maybe instead of a phasor or flanger on the bass a simple tremolo would make it quiver without the coloring of the phaser/flanger.
A phaser or flanger might make the bass stick out like a sore thumb.

I think this thread belongs in the Techniques forum.

Yeah I thought I might have put it in the wrong forum.. I'll give the Tremolo a try. At least I understand the adjustments.

I like the use of "quiver"!

Might be worth trying D16, their Electric Mistress emulator is pretty good.

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit, I7 3770K Ivybridge, 16GB Ram, Gigabyte Z77-D3H m/board,
ATI 7750 graphics+ 1GB RAM, 2xIntel 520 series 220GB SSDs, 1 TB Samsung F3 + 1 TB WD HDDs, Seasonic fanless 460W psu, RME Fireface UFX, Focusrite Octopre.
Assorted real synths, guitars, mandolins, diatonic accordions, percussion, fx and other stuff.

Another idea for the bass might be vibrato/leslie simulator: think of the way the bass sounds in the song "Heartbreaker" by led Zep.

That seemed to work... I used Amplitube 4 Classic SVT, 8x10e, and the Opto-tremolo..... I may try to add a little gain/fuzz but it's close with just the trem......I tried an Octave pedal but not what I'm "hearing"...

PS I'll give the vibe a try as well, but I am in the ballpark now!
